Days of Our Lives Casting Call: European Actress Wanted for New Role

Salem is about to get a bit more interesting. Days of Our Lives is about to add a new intriguing character to its roster as the show just issued a casting call for a new female character named Lauren.

The 50-year-old soap is looking for an actress with an “authentic European accent” between the ages of 35 and 45 to play this new role. According to Soaps.com, “Lauren is being accused of kidnapping and working in a very dangerous line of work. Her strength gives away a fear as she gets backed into a corner.”

Will this mysterious Lauren have a connection to anyone in town? With a European accent, might she be another DiMera to give Andre (Thaao Penghlis) something more to do than seek revenge on whoever wrongs him and his family? With the role not yet cast, don’t expect to see Lauren on screen until summer.
