Ciara Brady has had one heck of a last six months on “Days of Our Lives”. She learned her brand-new stepfather tried to kill her mother, then watched her father die less than 24 hours later. By January, her stepbrother raped her on her great-grandmother’s couch and it seemed she’d never recover.
However, she seems to have one saving grace. Sweet Theo Carver (Kyler Pettis) is sweet on her and will do anything to protect Ciara (Vivian Jovanni) and keep her safe. What started out as a lifelong friendship has turned into something more, but is it what fans want. Soap Shows asked and there seems to be a majority consensus.
Out of about 3,000 votes, 73% of you absolutely love the blossoming romance between Ciara and Theo. You think Theo is just what Ciara needs to recover from everything that’s happened to her and wish you had a young man who wanted to shelter you from the world. You also love how protective Ciara is of Theo, a high functioning teen with autism who tells it like it is.
A much smaller 21% of you just don’t see the chemistry. You like Ciara and Theo as friends and think it needs to stay that way. You find them to be awkward together, but also believe Ciara needs time to heal from her rape before she gets involved with anyone romantically.
The final 6% of you just don’t care. You’ve already grown weary of the teen scene taking up so much screen time and wish the show would focus more on the adult storylines that seem to have fallen by the wayside.
