While it looks like Andre and Chad become a Dynamic DiMera team next week on Days of Our Lives, looks can be deceiving…or could they?
The Plan
According to the October 17 issue of Soap Opera Digest, Marlena (Deidre Hall) and Kate (Lauren Koslow) are women with a plan–to bring down The Terrible Trio–and they decide to enlist Chad’s help. Kate has faith in Chad as the one good DiMera who can use his power for a positive outcome–unlike his brother, Andre.
Brotherly Love…
However, Andre (Thaao Penghlis) wants to team up with Chad (Billy Flynn), and at this point, Chad thinks he has nobody else so he may as well cozy up to his big brother. They even have a good idea what Clyde (James Read) is up to with Thomas and decide to play on his intentions.
Or Brotherly Betrayal…
When things go terribly wrong, it looks very much like Andre is to blame when he suddenly turns around and shoots Chad. He then tells Clyde to grab that baby fast, making him look like the turncoat.
Of course, things may or may not be as they seem, and actor Thaao Penghlis is very cryptic about this whole brotherly betrayal.
“Does it look like there are tragic events?” Penghlis asks in Digest. “Quite possibly, [but] Andre has been around and knows how to play certain games and outwit people and that’s what he does–outwit Chad at his own game.”
Is Chad really down for the count, and does Andre want Thomas for his own benefit? (Perhaps he even knows where Abigail is.) Or, are Andre and Chad in on this whole thing together and have a way of getting Thomas to safety?
