It’s contract negotiation time for Days of Our Lives again, and DAYS writers might want to take a bit of a break until NBC and Sony reach a deal.
NBC and Sony Pictures Television are in their usual contract negotiations now and last month an NBC rep said the network was confident a deal could be reached.
Ratings have continued to climb for the 50-year-old soap since the fall when Griffith and Higley took over the head scribe roles. With a rating surge like that, it’s doubtful the two major parties won’t reach a contract agreement.
