With the news that Daniel Cosgrove will be returning to Salem as Aiden Jennings in late spring, Days of Our Lives fans have to wonder how on Earth the show will pull this off. After all, when Bo killed Aiden last fall, the body was cold as ice and buried in the ground.
Of course, this is a soap and anything can happen. After all, how many times has The Phoenix risen from the ashes to wreak havoc in Salem over and over.
Soap Shows wanted to know how you feel about Cosgrove’s return, so we asked, and you all had some very strong opinions.
Out of more than 13,000 votes, 61% of you don’t want to see Aiden resurrected. After all, when Executive Producer Ken Corday said no more characters would return from the dead, we thought he meant it. That doesn’t mean Aiden won’t appear as a ghost, but even so, you’re not feeling it. You want Hope to move on and not have to deal with the man who tried to strangle her on their wedding night.
Another 27% love the idea of an Aiden return and hope whoever died was actually a clone created by Stefano and Andre. Hope and Aiden were growing on you before DAYS decided to make the character into a weak and pathetic villain and you long to see Cosgrove on your Salem screens once more.
The final 12% don’t care at all. You never really liked Aiden and found him dull. If he returns on a regular basis, you just hope he finds a new love interest so Hope can continue to grow closer to Rafe.
