After an iconic “Days of Our Lives” on Friday, April 15th where Theresa (Jen Lilley) calls Summer (Marie Wilson) out on her crap, Wilson pranked Lilley and Martsolf. On Sunday, the pair were on Common Ground Radio talking with the hosts about DAYS when Wilson surprised them by joining in.
After a series of questions, the phone lines opened up and the caller said, “Hey, this is Summer, I’d like to know why you are talking to my guy.”
Lilley and Martsolf cracked up, recognizing their co-star’s voice right away. And Martsolf replied, “Oh, Summer, just go back to your hotel room.” But then he roped Wilson to staying on a bit longer.

We also learned a few tidbits about Martsolf, Lilley, Wilson, and DOOL on The Common Ground:
- Martsolf and Lilley revealed that they are both perfectionists.
- Martsolf discussed how a Thrady fan scolded him on how awful he’s been treating Theresa during Summer’s stay in Salem.
- For two Halloweens, Martsolf dressed up as a feminine hygiene product. He admits it was a tacky decision, but he was an adolescent.
- Martsolf and Lilley reveal why their characters aren’t at certain family events like weddings with one word—budget.
- Martsolf calls Passions his baby because it was his first TV gig.
- Lilley is working on another album of original songs but doesn’t have a release date and can’t reveal the genre yet.
- Wilson always wanted to dye her hair blonde but was never brave enough—until she had to for DOOL.
- Wilson and Martsolf will be meeting up with Martsolf’s opening of Cardio Barre this weekend in Vegas.
- Lilley is trying to eat seasonally and makes soups all the time. She especially loves anything pumpkin.
