“Days of Our Lives” star Galen Gering (Rafé) has been sharing the screen a lot lately with his character’s new love interest, Hope (Kristian Alfonso). Fans are torn between their loyalty to #TeamBope and their desire to see Hope in the arms of another great love. Now, for the most part, they are screaming and tweeting in support of #TeamRope.
But, Gering’s not just captivating us on-screen. He’s also shared a glimpse into his off-screen life with friends, family, and fans on Twitter. Here’s what Soap Shows has learned about Gering thanks to the man himself:
1. Gering recently brought home a new puppy named Charley Nibbles. And, if you’ve ever been around a lab puppy, you will know they do quite a lot of “nibbling.”
2. Gering is not much of an interview kind of person. In early April, he shared this funny GIF of what he feels like when PR tries to get him to do interviews—although he does do them.
3. Gering is not a fan of Home Depot either. Well, maybe not the store as much as the work involved when he returns home from Home Depot.

4. In February, Gering had the stomach flu while filming on the DOOL set, but he reassured fans that his DAYS family was taking good care of him.

5. Gering enjoys snowboarding with his family and friends—along with other outdoor sports. In January, they conquered Mammoth Mountain.
