As “Days of Our Lives” builds to May sweeps, stories seem to be coming to a head, with different combinations of characters planning and plotting each week. As days go on, stories get hotter and more faves interact.
This week, it seemed like stories and characters collided and Soap Shows asked which ones had you tuning in the most.
Out of nearly 4,000 votes, 31% of you love the intense brotherly rivalry between Victor (John Aniston) and Deimos (Vincent Irizarry). The rivalry looks like it can easily turn into a deadly one and you can’t believe how ruthless each one is.
Victor has always given family some sort of benefit of the doubt, but not Deimos and we have to wonder if there’s more to their bloodline than meets the eye.
Coming in a close second with 30% of the vote is everything Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans). Watching them reunite and then be torn apart once again by Ava has been heartbreaking. Joey’s problems held them together for a while, but it couldn’t last. Now that Kayla’s health is in peril, you hope that unites them again.
Another 20% love watching Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and Victor team up once again. They always made a formidable pair, and if they manage to take down Deimos, you applaud them.
But, of course, there’s Nicole and Deimos. A small 12% love the fact that she looks like Helena and that gives Nicole a storyline.
A very small 5% love the rivalry between Theresa (Jen Lilley) and Summer (Marie Wilson) and are glad Theresa told the interloper where she can stick it. Jen Lilley reminded us that you don’t mess with Theresa Donovan and her man.
The final 2% love the emo brooding between Joey and Jade. You think these two lost souls have great chemistry and can’t wait to see what happens next.
