We feel we’re on a loop lately with our reactions to what Days of Our Lives has been dishin’ up on random afternoons.
In January, out of nowhere, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) shot Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) over and over and over again. She shot him way more times than necessary and, just like that, The Phoenix died for the last time, never to rise again.
Last week on a Wednesday, an innocent kiss between Ciara (Vivian Jovanni) and Chase (Jonathon McClendon)became SO much more when Chase refused to hear Ciara’s cries of no and raped her on the Horton couch, changing the face of that iconic and beloved living room forever.

And then, today. DAYS made it clear another murder victim would fall this week, and some of us had an inkling it might be Ava (Tamara Braun), but who would have guessed the killer?
Joey Johnson (James Lastovic), what have you done? Do you even know? Were the hurt and rage that strong that what Sami (Alison Sweeney) tried to do to Chad (Billy Flynn) in the hospital last fall, YOU actually did to Ava? We certainly didn’t see it coming, and we’re sure Ava didn’t either.
Things are about to get insane in Salem–if they weren’t insane already.
It seems that dark cloud continues to loom and, while we’ll still tune in tomorrow, we hope we see a smile soon.
