Hot on the heels of news that Martha Madison (Belle), Brandon Beemer (Shawn), Marie Wilson (Summer), and Sal Stowers (Lani) were cut from the “Days of Our Lives” comes rumors that more cast members will be purged soon.
According to the April 11 issue of Soap Opera Digest, industry insiders predict more actors will be cut in coming weeks and months, making room for some old favorites to return to the canvas.
Along with that news comes a tweet from Lauren Koslow (Kate) today informing us about her latest scripts.

With DAYS taping about six months in advance, anything actors receive now won’t air till September, when the show’s most recent bloodbath began after serial killer Batty Ben went to work.
Earlier this year, Soap Shows reported on a photo posted to social media by Vincent Irizarry that appeared to have Freddie Smith (Sonny) in the background. Soon after, Chandler Massey’s former manager left cryptic messages that indicated the possibility that the ultra-popular Massey (Will) might return to the show. In addition, it’s already been confirmed that Daniel Cosgrove’s Aiden will also be back in Salem indefinitely.
As fans know, Will and Aiden seemed truly dead, so Aiden’s return remains a mystery and Massey’s possible return remains perplexing. This is a soap, and stranger things have happened. Also, DAYS fans have to remember Melaswen, correct? (And, that is pure speculation on our part there.)
