On Wednesday, “The Young and the Restless” announced it added a new cast member, Chrishell Strause (Jordan), the former on-screen sister of Batty Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) on “Days of Our Lives.”
Strause will play Bethany Bryant, a wild-child who pushes limits and lives on the edge. She will appear on-screen for the first time on May 25th.
The actress has been dating Y&R star Justin Hartley (Adam) since 2014. Hartley was a former “Passions” cast member, as was Galen Gering (Rafé), Strause’s former on-screen boyfriend. Oh, and Hartley played Oliver Green on a little show called “Smallville.”
Fans, friends, and some Salem alum took to social media to congratulate her. Strause joined in on the conversation. Here’s what they had to say:

Strause also posted this super-cute photo of herself and Hartley. A fan joked that if she were younger and as pretty as Strause, she’d steal Hartley. Strause replied that the fan had great taste.
